Plastic model car kits are made by several companies. Two of the better ones are Tamiya and Revell.
Tamiya kits are very detailed, complete and well engineered. They build into beautiful models. They tend to be more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Revell kits are also good quality, although the fit of parts is not as flawless as with Tamiya kits. They generally have fewer parts and are less expensive.
The Porsche Carrera GT kit shown on this site is from Tamiya. The parts fit perfectly, and every aspect of the car is modeled in exquisite detail, including the engine and wheels. If you are a fan of super cars or Porsche, you will love this kit!
